I’ve been contacted by researcher Maya Lane, who’s seeking women based in the Netherlands who are affected by chronic vulval pain/vaginal pain/vulvodynia.

I am looking to interview women in the Netherlands with chronic vulval pain/vaginal pain/vulvodynia (diagnosed or undiagnosed) as part of an anthropological research project  at the University of Amsterdam. The project focuses on women’s experiences of chronic vulval pain and treatment processes. I am particularly interested in women who have tried both medical and alternative treatments. I hope to gather personal experiences and thoughts- all information, thoughts, ideas and opinions are useful! All information will be confidential.
