Also really looking forward to joining @thyroidtrust for this rescheduled chat about #RebelBodies on Sunday.
I’ve spent most of the last week in bed with a chest infection, which is probably my body’s (highly inconvenient) way of telling me I can’t do everything. But very grateful to @prca_hq for sorting out the tech so I could still join you for this panel discussion on women’s health & strategic communications with @hertility_health & @onepoll_ ❤️
My latest for @theipaper on Sheehan’s Syndrome, a rare form of pituitary damage caused by haemorrhage (blood loss) and/or hypovolemia (very low blood pressure) during or after childbirth.
A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of joining @aerztederwelt, @elisa_visconti_pic, @sitra.nuredin & @schmitt_einander for a panel on gendering in medicine as part of Humanitarian Congress Berlin.
My latest for @theipaper, on the agony and stigma associated with #pelvicinflammatorydisease. Thanks as always to @talkswithdrsesay 😘
A beautiful day and great discussion yesterday @cuckfieldbookfest with Dr Ginny Ponsford and Kate Harris.
🏳️‍⚧️From chapter 1 of #RebelBodies, shared in love and solidarity with my trans sisters, brothers and non-binary siblings this week 🩵🩷🤍
After a quieter couple of months for family time, rest and recovery, things are suddenly looking quite busy again in October!
Two women’s health icons and my little book 📚
